Why SGD Body & Beauty?
Why do I do what I do? A lot of people wonder why I do so many things, so this post starts to explain why I do what I do. SGD Body & Beauty started organically. I was always loved
You’ve just taken the first step towards a stronger, healthier body and mind, and glowing skin. Do you want to feel stronger, have more energy, and feel sharp, and glow with health?
Are you struggling with weight fluctuations, low energy levels, and dull, dry, flaky skin? Makeup can work wonders, but if you’ve got any of the issues above, it may only be masking underlying issues.. Looking after your skin and your health, using makeup to enhance the underlying features can be a much better way, not to mention being more cost effective.

There’s a whole range to choose from including virtual yoga, pilates and fitness offerings, through to events to empower you to live well.
I’ve always been passionate about health and wellbeing, and originally wanted to be a chiropractor or physiotherapist. I studied science and became fascinated with how the body works. While working in pharmaceutical R&D, I became fascinated with the products we put on, and in our bodies, and started looking at my own makeup. I started SGD Body & Beauty after being asked to do wedding makeup for friends. What started out as makeup only, grew to include other offerings, including facials and massage, personal training, yoga, pilates and meditation, as I grew to understand how much our overall physical and mental health can impact our skin, and vice versa.
Through my science and health education, I’ve also realised that the gut, nutrition and physical fitness and health are vitally important to living a fulfilled life, and feeling like you’ve got enough energy to get through the day. The gut and nutrition also work hand in hand with beauty to ensure the skin glows.

If you are a woman in her 40s (or late 30s) and have started noticing that the nutrition and exercise strategies that used to work aren’t yielding the same results, you are not alone. You are likely approaching or already

In a world obsessed with 7-day detoxes and “instant” transformations, the word consistency can feel a bit boring. But if you look at the most successful health journeys, they aren’t built on radical overhauls—they are built on the compound effect and consistency.
